Obituary of Cora Louise Crosthwaite

     Cora Louise Crosthwaite, of Walton, KY became one of God’s angels as she passed away surrounded by her loving family at her residence at the age of 93.

     She was born in Dillsboro, IN on March 27, 1924; the eldest daughter of Perry and Anna “Annie” Waldon. Louise retired from American Sign as a sign maker and loved to dance.

     She was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 43 years, Farrell Crosthwaite; son, Mark Crosthwaite; sister, Kathryn Mix and brothers, Denton Waldon and Melvin Waldon.

     Louise is survived by her beloved daughter, Peggy Menke; sisters, Lois (Clyde) Fairfield and Ellen (Donald) Snelling; brother, Perry (Annette) Waldon; grandchildren, Tara Tucker, Chuck (Christie) Menke and Amy Kirst; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; significant other, Lee Landrum; as well as many other relatives and friends.

     A visitation for Louise will be held from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 North Main Street, Walton, KY 41094. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM the following day, Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Bethel Cemetery in Verona, KY.
