Obituary of Martha L. Jackson

     Martha L. Jackson, of Crescent Springs, KY passed away at Rosedale Green In Covington, KY on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 76.

     She was born in Campbell Co., KY on February 23, 1941; the daughter of Charles and Theodora Gall. Martha retired as a bookkeeper and manager of Sun Oil and had been a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing Bingo, Bunko and laying by the beach in her travels. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved family.

     Martha was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Michael Ralston and daughter-in-law, Debbie Jackson.

     She is survived by her loving children, Robert “Bob” (Lynda) Jackson, Connie (David) Walters and Donald Jackson; brother, Charles “Charlie” (Barbara) Gall; grandchildren, Emily Stilkey, Rachel (James) Simpson, Crystal (Travis) Floyd, Amber (Oley) Martin, Carmen (Dillon) Ralston, April Walters, Mitchell Walters, Donnie (Nicki) Jackson, Dakota Jackson and Delaney Jackson; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends.

     A Gathering of Friends will be held from 12:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December, 16, 2017 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.

     As per Martha’s wishes, she will then be placed into an Eternal Reef just off the coast of Florida in a meaningful, permanent environmental tribute to her life.

     Memorials in Martha’s name may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
