Obituary of Mary Jane Nie

Mary Jane Nie (nee: Feldmann), age 85, of Independence, KY, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills, KY.  She was a homemaker and a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Independence.  Mary Jane enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting,  needlework, and spending time with her family. 

Her husband (of 55 years), Martin Nie and son, Mark Nie, preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children; Kathy Barth (Mark), Jack Nie (Becky), and Sharon Lang (John); grandchildren, Jeremy Barth (Christine), Greg Barth, Theresa Lang, Julie Lang, Mark John Nie, Sarah Lang, and Sam Nie; great-grandchildren, Evan Barth, Addison Barth, and Sophia Barth. 

Visitation will be Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, 5313 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. at the church.  Interment will be at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia, KY.  Online condolences may be expressed to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
