Obituary of Nellie Sipple
Nellie Jackson Sipple, 86 of Selma, North Carolina passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 at her residence. She was born on May 24, 1932 to late Mary Christine Niehoff Jackson and Franklin Benjamin Jackson.
Nellie was a lifelong member of Oak Island Baptist Church where she served the Lord faithfully through the years. She attended Live Oak Baptist Church in Selma, NC where she resided the past year and a half and enjoyed senior activities at the church. Nellie retired from the IRS then worked at Sam’s Club as a demo lady in her seventies. She enjoyed sewing and gardening and mostly just spending time with family.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers Frank Jackson and Charles Jackson.
Nellie lived in Kenton County for all of her life except the past year and a half as she resided with her daughter, Chris Brancheau and husband Nick in Selma, NC. She is survived by another daughter, Gayle Bowen of Richwood and sons Mike Sipple (Karen) of Raleigh, NC, and Tim Sipple (Katja) of Palm City, FL. Grandchildren: Ben Collins (Laura), Mattie Brummett (Justin), Sarah Hutton (Tyler), Ryan Sipple (Sarah), Jacob Sipple, and Mark Sipple. Great Grandchildren: Leah Collins, Owen & Amelia Hutton, and Ava, Adeline and Alyssa Brummett; her sister, Wilma Neal of Campbell County; as well as many other relatives and friends.
A gathering of friends will take place on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 2:30 PM at Chambers and Grubbs, Independence. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at Oak Island Baptist Church, 3445 Moffett Rd, Morning View, Kentucky 41063.
