Obituary of Ikie Polly

Ikie Polly, 49, of Morning View passed away on Thursday, July 12, 2018.  For many years he worked for Quality Associates as a machine operator.

Ikie was an avid fisherman who enjoyed watching his favorite NASCAR driver, Jeff Gordon and favorite NFL football team, the Washington Redskins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Goldie Polly.

Ikie is survived by his life partner of 26 years, Lisa Lucas; daughters, Cari and Kayla Polly; father, Decoursey Polly; siblings: Mike Polly, Atha (Shawn) Brewer, Ralph O’Brien and Linda (Mike) McGuire; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; as well as many more family and friends who loved him dearly.

A visitation for Ikie will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 11 AM-1 PM with funeral service to follow at 1 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 1138 Madison Pike, Independence, KY.  Burial will be immediately following at Wilmington Cemetery.
