Obituary of David Mann Peebles

David Mann Peebles, age 84, of Walton, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018 at his residence.  He was the retired Superintendent of Construction for Owen Electric Cooperative (for 42 years), and a member and former Deacon at Walton Christian Church.  Dave served his country in the U.S. Navy and served his community several terms on the Walton City Council.  He had a love of hunting and fishing and was the past President of the Latonia Gun Club. 

His wife (of 56 years), Irene Spencer Peebles; brother, Ken Morris; and sisters, Theora Locke and Juanita Morris preceded him in death.  He is survived by his children, David S. Peebles (Lisa), Clifford R. Peebles (Veronica), and Gregory A. Peebles (Peggy); sisters, Pat Stine (Don) and Naomi Spegal; grandchildren, Catelyn Boone (Patrick), Jessica Spencer (Robert), Gregory G. Peebles (Amanda), and Ashley Peebles; and three great grandchildren. 

His visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Walton Christian Church, 50 S. Main St., Walton, KY 41094 with services immediately following at 1 p.m.  Interment will be at Walton Cemetery.
