Obituary of Dwight Lewis "Buck" Buckler

     Dwight Lewis “Buck” Buckler, of Elsmere, KY passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY at the age of 74.

     He was born in Rabbit Hash, KY on November 4, 1943; the son of Walter and Rosie Buckler. Buck liked to shoot pool, go fishing and enjoyed watching Western and animal movies. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his family and friends.

     He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Dwayne Buckler and two sisters, Barbara Calhoun and Betty Pelfrey.

     Buck is survived by his loving and devoted wife of nearly 58 years, Betty  Buckler; children, Tony Dwight Lewis Buckler, Teresa (Mike) Wood, Dale James Edward (Trisha) Buckler and Lisa Marie Buckler; sister, Judy (Billy) Noel; 31 grandchildren; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn his loss and carry on his memory.

     A visitation for Buck will take place on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service which will begin at 1:00 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 846 Dixie Highway, Florence, KY 41042. Burial will follow at Burlington Cemetery.

     Memorials in Buck’s name may be made to the family c/o Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home.
