Obituary of David Charles Staton

     David C. Staton, of Independence, KY passed away at Cold Spring Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at the age of 69.

     He was born on August 30, 1949; the son of Lowell and Bette Staton.

     David leaves behind his companion of over thirty years, Jean Fightmaster; his Auntie, Opal Richmond; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Hainline; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Melanie Staton; grandchildren, Hunter and Isabella Staton; daughter-in-law, Chantell Staton; son, Benjamin Staton; as well as many other relatives and friends.

     A visitation for David will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 PM on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Burial will immediately follow in procession to Independence Cemetery.

     In lieu of flowers, memorials in David’s name may be given to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Dr, Edgewood, KY 41017.
