Obituary of Jacob Lee Sims

    Jacob Lee Sims, age 35, of Walton, KY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 in Covington, Ky.

He was born the son of Keith W. Sims and Lona Embree on April 27, 1983 in Danville, KY. Jacob loved Harley Davidson, trucks, and muscle cars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving son, Jaxon Gabriel Sims; sister, Katelyn Sims; step-sister, Sarah Berkshire; step-father, Keith Embree; and paternal grandmother, Martha Sims.

     Jacob was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Raylynn Sims; step-brother, Matthew Brian Baker; paternal grandfather, Charles Sims; and maternal grandparents, James and Pearl Elam.

     A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. A funeral service will begin immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Wilmington Baptist Cemetery.
