Obituary of Elizabeth Shannon Cole

     Elizabeth Shannon Cole, age 44, of Independence, KY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 24, 2019.

     Shannon was born in Covington, KY on September 12, 1974. She loved to spend time with her family especially her grandchildren, loved going to Pride Park, crocheting and making prayer shawls, and supporting the yellow ribbon center.  Shannon was a true animal lover and was especially fond of her 7 dogs.

     She is survived by her loving and caring husband, Barry “Bear” Cole; three children, Mariah Bush, Kody (Kady) Bush, and Noah (fiancé Allysa) Bush; two grandchildren, Ally and Charlie Bush; and one grandchild on the way, Jaxon Anthony Bush; father, Dennis (Vicki) Humphrey; mother, Belinda Porter; siblings, Brent (McKenna) Humphrey, Kayla (fiancé Eric) Humphrey, and Justin (Kendra) Humphrey; maternal grandmother, Ruth Porter; and special friends, Britney Price and Shelly Hughes.

     Visitation will be held on Friday, March 29, 2018 from 4:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Funeral services will begin immediately following visitation at 7:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Heidrick, KY at the convenience of the family.
