Obituary of Delores "Jean" Curtis
Delores “Jean” Curtis nee: Hollingsworth, 68, of Hebron passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2019.
She was born in Covington, KY to the late Randall Hollingsworth and Helen Tebelman.
Jean, a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church, was a homemaker, who loved spending time with her family, crochet, play traditional family games and animals, especially her beloved dogs, “Babe” and “Rosa”.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; sons, Freddie Wayne Black and Jason Curtis; and brother, Ronnie Hollingsworth.
Jean is survived by her children: Eric (Tonya) Black of Hebron, Denny (Gussy) Curtis of Independence and Todd (Sarah) Curtis of Independence; sisters, Linda Coyle of Latonia Lakes and Judy (Tom) Harned of Kempner, TX; brothers, John Hollingsworth (Kenny Hicks) of East Gate, OH and Jeff (Debbie) Hollingsworth of Elsmere; grandchildren: Trey (Melina) Jackson, Dakota Jackson, Zachary Curtis, Dakota Curtis and Isabella Curtis; a niece who was considered a daughter to her, Amber (Rogelio) Ayala and their son, Luis of Florence; and many other nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Jean will be held on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service, 12:00 PM, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence, KY. Entombment will immediately follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorials in Jean’s name are suggested to American Cancer Society or American Lung Association.
