Obituary of Robert McDonald

     Robert Gerald “Bob” McDonald, of Verona, KY passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence at the age of 74. He was born in Covington, KY on April 26, 1945. Bob was the owner and operator of Oak Creek Campground in Walton, KY. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed listening to music, especially the oldies.

     He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Sharon McDonald; children, Robert (Katie) McDonald and Dana Nunn; grandchildren, Isabelle, Madelynn, Kennedey, Brittany, Austin, Rae-Lynn and Skyler; great-grandson, Lucas; as well as many other relatives and friends who will mourn his loss and cherish his memory.

     A graveside service for Bob will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 26, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Verona, KY. Expressions of sympathy may be made in Bob’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
