Obituary of Robert Joseph Taylor

     Robert Joseph Taylor, age 71, of Walton, KY passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was born the son of the late Robert Henry and Adalene (List) Taylor on July 4, 1948 in Butler, KY.

     Robert was a wonderful father and loving husband who was truly genuine. He worked as a carman on the railroad and loved to garden and work on cars. Robert was a big UK basketball fan and liked to travel, especially to the beach.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Regina (Bishop) Taylor and sister, Alice Shanklin.

     Robert is survived by his wife, Renee Taylor; children, Brandy (William) Mueller and Robert Jeremy Taylor; grandchildren, Olivia (Steve) Rickels, Tucker Mueller, Tanner Mueller, Isabella Mueller, Hannah Taylor, Jazmyn Taylor, Mickiah Taylor, Kyndal Taylor, Melanie Taylor, and Robert Taylor; great grandchildren, Robert “Bo” Rickels, Paisley and Savannah; his twin brother, Ronald (Donna) Taylor; brother, Curtis (Becky) Taylor; and sister, Carol (Jim) Kyle.

    Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 11:00AM until time of service at 2:00PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Burial will follow at St. Cecilia Cemetery.
