Obituary of Yvette M. Azeltine Pryse

Dr. Yvette M. Azeltine Pryse, age 66, of Independence, KY, passed away on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  She was a Professor of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati and a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Crestview Hills, KY.  Yvette was a hard worker, who loved teaching, playing piano and spending time with her children. Her brothers, Alan Lewis Azeltine, Fredrick Walter Azeltine, and Terry Lee Azeltine, all preceded her in death.  She is survived by her children, Joseph Scott Pryse, Sonny Rae Pryse, and Shana Marie Carlton; siblings, Robert Merrell Azeltine, LeRoy Eugene Azeltine, James Richard Azeltine, and Charlene Denise Holland; and seven grandchildren.  Based upon the safety guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Kentucky due to the COVID-19 alert, services for Dr. Yvette Pryse will be held at a later date.  Memorial donations may be made to  Pink Ribbon Girls at https://www.pinkribbongirls.org/.  To leave a message of condolence or to share a memory, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com or https://caringbridge.org/visit/dryvetteazeltine-pryse.
