     Ronald David Chitwood, Jr. of Independence, age 82, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Edgewood, KY. Ronald enjoyed relaxing at home and watching tv. In his younger years, he had a passion for hotrods. He loved going to car shows and even showing off his own hotrod. Ronald also raised show horses, which was something he enjoyed doing with his wife, Vivian. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his loving family.

     Survived to mourn his loss is his loving wife of 59 years, Vivian Chitwood; sons, Michael David (Karen) Chitwood, Scott Allen (Diana) Chitwood, and Richard Dwayne (Angie) Chitwood; siblings, Bruce Chitwood, Jim Chitwood, Jerry Chitwood, Tom Chitwood, and Dianna Tobler; grandchildren, Cory, Casey, Ryan, Reed, Karigan, Dylan, Justin, and Kaitlyn; great-grandchildren, Korbin and Kynlee; as well as many other friends and family members who will cherish his memory.

     No formal services will be held at this time.
