Obituary of Ricky Dale Ruf

Ricky Dale Ruf, age 60, of Crittenden, KY, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY.  He was a Machine Operator for Diversified Structural Composites in Erlanger, KY and a member of Walton United Methodist Church.  Ricky enjoyed fishing, camping, tinkering on things, and spending time with his grandsons.  His father, Elwood Ruf, preceded him in death.  He is survived by his wife, Gail Lynn Robinson Ruf; son, Daniel Scott Ruf (Sara); daughter, Lacey Ruf; Mother, Mary Hammond Brunker; sisters, Connie Franklin (Charles) and Kim Ruf; and grandchildren, Brody Ruf, Jaxton Creech, and Lincoln Ruf.  Visitation will be Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 North Main St., Walton, KY 41094.  The funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.  Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions, face masks are required, social distancing is encouraged, and 50% capacity will be limited at the funeral home.  Interment will be Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Walton Cemetery.  Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made by clicking on the red donate button below.  For directions, to view his Life Tribute Video or to share an online condolence or memory for Ricky’s family, please visit www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
