Obituary of Nancy Helen Darnaby Gadd

Nancy Helen Darnaby Gadd, 80, of Florence, KY, passed away Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Baptist Village Care Center in Erlanger, KY.  She was a retired Office Manager for Baluff, Inc. of Florence, KY and a member of Salem Methodist Church in Scott County, KY.  Nancy enjoyed golfing, fishing, attending her grandsons’ sporting events and spending time with her cherished family.  Her parents, Toby and Billie Martin Darnaby, and her brother, Harold Darnaby, all preceded her in death.  She is survived by her loving husband (of over 45 years), Jerry Gadd; step-daughter, Stephanie Stiene (Doug); siblings, Tommy Darnaby (Judy) and Peggy Cook (James); sister-in-law, Linda Darnaby; grandsons, Evan Mitchell Stiene and Caleb Matthew Stiene; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be Monday, November 8, 2021, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051.  Her funeral service will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45242 or St. Elizabeth Cancer Care Center, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017-3403.  For directions, to view the life tribute video, or to leave the family a message of condolence, please go to www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
