Obituary of Robin Chambers

Robin Chambers, (63), a lifelong resident of Independence, KY, and a recent resident of Lehigh Acres, FL, passed away on April 29^th at Fort Myers, FL.  The late daughter of Mae Etta and Robert J. Matteoli, Robin was born in Covington, KY, on November 25, 1959.

Robin worked in the construction industry for 23+ years and recently relocated to pursue her retirement in sunny Florida.

A devoted mother, Robin will be deeply missed by her children, Chrissy (Steve) Fitch, Cory (Sarah) Chambers, and Ryanne (Bill) Ross.  She is also survived by her brother, Jeff (Tina) Matteoli; and seven grandchildren, Christopher Pieper, Emilee Pieper, Mason Fitch, Karah Chambers, Brooks Chambers, Cooper Ross, and Jordyn Ross.

A generous soul and a loyal friend, Robin was a constant presence in the lives of those who knew her best. 

In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald S. Chambers, and beloved canine companion, Puddin’.

A visitation will be held between 4 PM and 6 PM with a memorial service to immediately follow at 6 PM on Wednesday, May 10^th at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike Independence, KY 41051.  Robin will be laid to rest with her husband at Independence Cemetery.  For directions or to leave an online condolence, please visit the corresponding tabs on this page.
