Obituary of Paul Joseph Seidman
Paul Joseph Seidman, age 67, of Union, Kentucky passed away June 10, 2024. Paul was a proud son of Brooklyn, New York and a noted expert in the culinary arts. An Elder at Union Presbyterian Church in Union, Kentucky, he was a man of faith and tremendous love for family and friends. Paul was an avid reader, possessing a very extensive library of global cuisine. He was an old-time radio fan and loved playing chess. Paul had a love of travel and was fortunate enough to travel the world. He was all about family, always teaching lessons, such as the importance of a strong work ethic and keeping a moral compass, financial responsibility, making wise decisions, and giving to others. Paul was the epitome of hospitality. He was passionate about food and wine. No gathering was complete without his delicious meals and genuine conversations. He made everyone feel like family. Paul's legacy is one of inspiration and emulation—a true testament to a life well-lived.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Florence Seidman, sister Susan Seidman, and granddaughter Lauren Collins. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Ollie Stokes Seidman; daughter, Amy Marsh (Jeremy); grandson, Kyle Collins; siblings, Michael Seidman (Ellen), David Seidman, and Luke Seidman (Elaine); brother-in-law, Thom Wilson, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held for Paul on Saturday June 15, 2024 at Union Presbyterian Church located at 10259 US 42 in Union, Kentucky, 41091. Doors to the church will be open beginning at 9:30 AM, with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM.
Immediately following the funeral service, please join our family in celebrating Paul’s life beginning at 11:00 AM at Triple Crown Country Club located at 10644 Triple Crown Blvd. in Union, Kentucky. All are welcome to come and share a story or memory, enjoy a meal, and raise a glass.
