Obituary of Harold Reader

Harold William "Biff" Reader, age 80 of Independence, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2012. He was a retired chemical engineer who served in the US Army. A former American Legion member, he enjoyed rock hunting, jewelry making, fishing and hunting, metal working, industrial sewing and dogs. He is preceded in death by his parents, Courtney and Edna Reader.
Harold is survived by his wife, Barbara Reader; daughters, Valerie Reader of Independence and Cheryl Reader of Covington; sisters, Edna "Dee Dee" Peaco of Gibonia, PA, Ramona Schmidt of Butler, PA & Diane Riegler of Gibsonia, PA; and brother, David Reader of Gibsonia, PA.
Services will be Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 noon with a funeral ceremony immediately following. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery.
