Gerald B. Staley, 72, of Morning View passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Edgewood. He was a carpenter for 19 years, a pressman for U.S. Playing Card and a member of St. Patrick Parish. Gerald enjoyed fishing, hunting and was a big UK fan. Survivors include his loving wife Veronica Hoffman Staley; daughters Veronica (Curt) Pingel of Villa Hills, Rachel (Wayne) Jones of Florence, and Amanda (Brian) Lauer of California, KY; sons Gerald (Lisa) Staley of Morning View and Adam (Amber) Staley of Independence; sisters Kate Maus of Southgate and Mickey Koury of Laguna Woods, CA and 11 grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, November 12, 2012 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Patrick Church, with Mass immediately following. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Morning view, KY.
