Obituary of Fred Sharon

Fred H. Sharon, age 87, of passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Gallatin Healthcare of Warsaw. One of ten children born to Lillie Sharon-Williamson and James Sharon, he was a resident of Independence. He retired in 1987 after working over 30 years for R.C. Durr Construction and was a member of Wilmington Baptist Church of Fiskburg. His wife, Mary Jarman Sharon preceded him in death in 1992. Survivors include sons Jimmy Sharon of Glencoe, Ronnie Sharon of Independence, and John Sharon of Glencoe; sisters, Lula Hensley of Warsaw and Zela May Baughn of Price Hill, OH; five grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from Wednesday, November 28, 2012, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens of Covington.
