Obituary of James Baker

James Harold Baker, age 77, of Ryland Heights, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood. He was a retired Welder for the Kentucky Department of Transportation and he enjoyed camping and traveling to Las Vegas. Survivors include his wife, Shirley Lee Edelstein Baker; sons, Rod (Delores) Baker of Maysville and Kevin (Donna) Baker of Ft. Wright; brother, Walter Haley of Kenton, KY; sisters, Linda Stuntebeck and Cynthia Friedman; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 29, 2012 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence.
Memorials may be made Fairhaven Rescue Mission, 260 Pike St., Covington, KY 41012 or Redwood Rehabilitation, 71 Orphanage Rd., Ft. Mitchell, KY 41017.
