Obituary of Gayle Gill

Gayle Eulene Gill, 70, of Independence passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at her residence. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as gardening, mushroom hunting, fishing and gold panning. Gayle loved cooking and being with family. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert F. and Nancy Gill and her sister Myrna Barnhizer in 2006. Survivors include her daughter Suzi (Tom) Black of Independence; sons Jamie (Linda) Ross of Indianola, IA, John (Sherry) and Stephen (Maura) Ross both of Independence; sisters Lois Gulley of Independence and Audrey O'Neal of Mariposa, CA; brother Terry Gill of Independence; 9 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday, January 4, 2013 from 2 PM until the time of the service 4PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence.
