Linville "Pete" Eades, 89, of Florence passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Emeritus of Edgewood. Along with his wife Libby, Pete was owner/operators of Pete & Libby's Gift and Ceramics of Florence. He was also a member of Florence Christian Church where he was also a deacon, and a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Libby Eades, daughter Rebecca Ruth Vanderpool, brothers Edward Eades, Walter Eades and Omer Eades, and sisters Nancy Clark and Nel Johnson. Survivors include Mary Cecil Easterday of Columbus, OH, Lelia Katherine Bates of Warsaw, Barbara June "Bobby" Beckner of Lexington; brothers Eugene Eades and Cecil Eades both of Florence and Earl Eades of Erlanger; 11 Grandchildren; 29 Great-Grandchildren; numerous Great-Great-Grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be from 5-8 PM Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence. Funeral service will be 10 AM Thursday also at the funeral home. Burial will be at Warsaw Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Charity of One's Choice.
