Obituary of Mabel Wermuth

Mabel Marie Lipscomb Wermuth, 87, of Independence, passed away, Monday, April 2, 2012 at Villa Springs of Erlanger. She was a retired cafeteria worker for Kenton Elementary School for 35 years and a member of First Baptist Church of Independence. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Wermuth in 2007 and son Gregory Wermuth in 2009. Survivors include daughter Paula (Marc) Hoffman of Edgewood; sons Glenn (Linda) Wermuth of Deerfield Township, OH, and Mark (Paula) Wermuth of Florence; sister Helen West of Independence; grandchildren Amy Rahl, Matt, Steven, and Jimmy Wermuth, Jennifer Alexander, Lindsay Huge, Brian Hoffman; and great-grandchildren Audrey and Zoe Hoffman, Olivia, Rachel, and Adam Rahl, Jackson and Kylie Alexander, Peyton, Mia, Logan, and Lauren Wermuth and June Huge. Visitation will be Friday April 6th 2012 from 5PM-8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Saturday April 7th 2012 at the First Baptist Church of Independence. Burial will be at Independence Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Thanksgiving Mission Offering at First Baptist Church, 11659 Madison Pk., Independence, KY 41051.
