Obituary of Vincent Kelly

Vincent "Vinny" Eugene Kelly, 38, of Independence passed away Thursday, January 24 at St. Elizabeth Hospice of Edgewood. He was a conductor for CSX Railroad, a member of Piner Baptist Church, graduated from Simon Kenton where he loved playing football. He enjoyed fishing, playing games, his dogs, but his greatest love was for his family. He was preceded in death by his son Brasen Cain Kelly in 2006 and brother Paul Kelly in 2011.
Survivors include his wife of 17 years Melissa Snider Kelly; daughter Brittany Kelly; sons Joshua Igo and Vincent "Austin" Kelly; parents Vincent and Debbie Kelly; sister Carey Kelly; grandchildren Cameron Igo, Casey Igo, and Tatum Price all of Independence; and grandmother Liz Wilson of Newport.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM, Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Independence. Burial will be at Alexandria Cemetery.
