Obituary of Walter Gaskins

Walter "Jack" Gaskins, 82, died Friday, Jan. 18, at Baptist Convalescent Center, Newport.
He was a parts manager for Fuller Ford, a U.S. Navy veteran, member of Nicholson Christian Church in Independence and he enjoyed fishing, hunting and bowling.
Survivors include his wife, Elsie Gaskins; daughter, Melanie McCord; son, Bruce Gaskins; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to noon Monday, Jan. 21, with service following at Nicholson Christian Church, Independence. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Erlanger. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
