Obituary of Dorsie Hammons

Dorsie Lynn Crain Hammons, 76, died Jan. 18 at her home.
She was Night Auditor for Hilton Hotels, attended Latonia Baptist Church and enjoyed Antiquing.
Her husband, John Hammons, and granddaughter, Chrissy Hammons, died previously.
She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Bishop; sons, Steve, Jerry and John Hammons; sisters, Wanda Metcalf and Donna Lonnemann; brother, Ralph Crain; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Jan. 22 at Oak Ridge Baptist Church, Taylor Mill. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Jan. 23 at the church. Burial will be in Independence Cemetery. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Homes is handling arrangements.
