Rebecca J. Campbell Barker, 75, of Union went to be with her Lord Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Glomawr (Hazard), KY. Rebecca was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother, a member of New Hope Tabernacle Church of God of Walton, and was a Kentucky Colonel. Survivors include her husband of 56 years Roger Barker; daughters Melissa (James) Lankford of Union and Sandra Barker of Verona; sons Roger "Joe" Barker (Eva) of Hebron and Donald (Beth) Barker of Union; brother Brown Campbell, Jr. of Tennessee; grandchildren Chris, Heath, Shaun, Aaron, Elizabeth, Jaelyn, Reagan, Rebekah; and great-grandchildren Laicee, Hunter, Mikenzie, Cody, Caleb, Makayla, Logan, Alex, Emily and Bree.
Visitation will be Friday, February 22, 2013 from 11 AM until time of funeral service at 1 PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home of Florence. Burial will be at Hughes Chapel Cemetery.
