Obituary of Elbert Menefee

Elbert Ray "Bud" Menefee, age 79, of Morning View, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Grant County, KY. He was a farmer and a U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Menefee was also a member of Wilmington Baptist Church, Woodmen of the World, and the N.F.O. Survivors include his sisters, Donna J. Williams, Carolyn Jenkins, and Jo Ann Chambers, all of Morning View; seven nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 14, 2013 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. His funeral service will be held Friday, March 15, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery in Williamstown.
