Obituary of Elsie Ponder

Elsie Baker Ponder, 82, of Independence, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Edgewood. She was a nurse at the former St.Elizabeth North Hospital of Covington, a member of Community Family Church of Taylor Mill, and enjoyed reading, mall-walking, her church and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband William Ponder and son A. Scott Ponder. Survivors include her daughter Tammi Ponder of Independence; sons Brent Ponder and his wife Shelly of Walton and Gary Ponder of Elsmere; and grandchildren Brandon Ponder, Danielle Mason, Samantha Ponder, and Mitchell Ponder. Visitation will be Monday, March 18, 2013 at Community Family Church 11875 Taylor Mill Rd. from 11AM until time of funeral service at 12 Noon.
