Obituary of Ruth Perry

Ruth E. Rogers Perry, age 68, of Independence, passed away & went on to be with the Lord, Thursday, March 28, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood. She was a former Account Assistant for Huntington Bank in Florence and a graduate of Holmes High School. Ruth enjoyed the outdoors, antiquing, auctions, and her beloved U.K. Wildcats and Cincinnati Reds. Her father, Emerson A. Rogers, and mother, Mary Virginia Rodgers, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband (of 49 years) Robert L. Perry; daughter, Stefanie Perry Kelly of Independence; son, Matt (Becky) Perry of Union; sisters, Laura Sullivan of Florence and Joyce Grimm of Latonia; brother, Wayne Rogers of Florence; grandchildren, Brittany Kelly, Matison Perry, Tyler Perry, and Hunter Perry.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Independence Cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to St. Elizabeth Hospice, 1 Medical Village Drive, Edgewood, KY 41017.
