Obituary of Opal Jenkins

Opal Carolyn Jenkins (nee Menefee), age 70 of Morningview, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013. She was a retired licensed Cosmotologist at Coppins. Carolyn is a longtime member of Goshen Christian Church. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton Jenkins in 1993, her parents, Orville and Christine Menefee and brother Bud Menefee. She is survived by her daughter, Jenisha Jenkins and her son, Michael Jenkins, her sisters, Donna Williams and Joann Chambers and grandson, Jared Jenkins, all of Morningview.
Services will be held at Chambers & Grubbs Independence. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 3, 2013, from 5-8 PM. Funeral services will take place Thursday, April 4, 2013 at 11 AM. Burial will be in Gardnersville Cemetery.
