Obituary of Vivian Blake

Vivian "Louise" Hogsett Blake, age 92, of Independence, died Saturday, April 14, 2012, at her residence. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, OH and a former Sunday School Teacher at Landmark & Calvary Baptist Churches. Mrs. Blake loved to read, was formerly active in P.T.A., and enjoyed watching the "I Love Lucy Show". Survivors include her husband, of 69 years, Kenneth Blake; and son Michael Blake of Tallahassee, FL. Her sisters, Elizabeth Thomas and Mary Jo Blaine, and brother, Charles Hogsett, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 17, 2012 from 11 a.m. to 12 noon, at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will begin at 12 noon. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery.
