James Scott Cummins, age 40, of Independence, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, at University Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. Scott was a D.C. Specialist for Meritor and enjoyed working on projects around the house and helping others. He was preceded in death by his father, James Allen Cummins. Survivors include his wife, Kierra Rose Pierce Cummins; daughter, Lilyan Rose Cummins; daughter, Casey Cummins of Dry Ridge; mother and step-father, Wanda & Gary Mulligan of Alexandria; sister, Michelle Showalter of Falmouth; brothers, Greg Cummins of Alexandria, Bryant Cummins of Falmouth, and Jason Cummins of Crescent Springs.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, 2103 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Cummins Family, care of Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home.
