Obituary of Dudley Clinkenbeard

Dudley B. Clinkenbeard, 87, of Burlington formerly of Erlanger passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home. He retired after working many jobs for the State of Kentucky including flagging for the Department of Transportation, and maintenance for state parks and rest stops. Dudley also farmed tobacco and cattle and was a 66 year member of the Blue Lick Masonic Lodge #491 F.&A.M. He was preceded in death by his sister Doris. Survivors include his wife Cora Chambers Clinkenbeard; daughter Jeanne Clinkenbeard Stegner of Burlington; sons Ruben (Julia) Clinkenbeard and Joe Clinkenbeard both of Louisville; sister Betty Mefford of Frankfort; brother Sam Clinkenbeard of Walton; and grandchildren Josh, Cassidy, Jordan, and Joel. Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of Memorial Service at 12 Noon Friday, May 3, 2013 at Lakeside Christian Church 195 Buttermilk Pk. Lakeside Park, KY 41017 with Masonic Service. He will be laid to rest at Louisville Memorial Gardens West at a later time. Memorials are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
