Obituary of Stephen Harper

Stephen "Steve" Harper Sr., 68, of Florence passed away Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence. He retired from Square D in 2009 after nearly 30 years. Steve enjoyed golfing, Florence Freedom and Reds baseball games, and watching John Wayne movies. But, he is most remembered for his great sense of humor and making people laugh! Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years Judy Harper (Nee Kimmich); daughters Diana (Dan) Dixon of Taylor Mill and Pamela (Jim) Claypool of Ft. Thomas; son Stephen Jr. (Shannon) of Elsmere; grandchildren Daniel, Dustin, Katelyn, and Douglas Dixon, Brittany and James Claypool.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
