Obituary of Cathy Griffin

Cathy Jo McCormick Griffin, 50, of Florence passed away suddenly Sunday, May 5, 2013 at University of Cincinnati Hospital. She was a Transfer Specialist for Fidelity Investments, was a member of First Church of Christ of Burlington, loved playing softball with the church, running, camping, and being outside in the sun. Most of all she loved her family and friends and she especially treasured being a mom to her daughters Jennifer Griffin of Birmingham, AL, and Lindsey Griffin of Florence. She is also survived by her mother Evelyn McCormick, sister Terrie Pecenka of Peoria, IL, and companion Keith Underwood of Florence. She was preceded in death by her father Lloyd McCormick. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 4:30 PM until time of funeral service at 7:30 PM at First Church of Christ of Burlington. Burial at Burlington Cemetery will be private.
