John (Jack) Land, age 73, of Independence, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, KY. He was a retired Print Sales Executive and a member of Christ Church UCC in Ft. Thomas. Jack enjoyed spending time with his family and singing in the church choir. Survivors include his wife, Judith Rohmiller Land; daughters, Sharon Srygler, Peggy (David) Wahn, and Cathy (Alden) Meyers; grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Allan, Casey Wahn, Jacob Wahn, Adam Miller, John "Jack" Meyers, and Emma Meyers; and three great grandchildren, Abbi, Sam, and Zac Allan.
Visitation will be Friday, May 17, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Christ Church, 15 South Ft. Thomas Avenue, Ft. Thomas, KY 41075. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church.
Memorials may be made to Christ Church UCC Music Program or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142
