Obituary of William Brewer

William Ronald "Ronnie" Brewer Sr., 68, of Elsmere passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at his residence. He was a member of First Church of God in Florence, KY and a veteran of the United States Army. Throughout his life he enjoyed going to VA meetings, his dog Benji, watching wrestling and old westerns, sightseeing, going to church and reading his bible. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Gardner and Fanny (Puckette) Brewer; sisters Loretta Griffith and Willa Combs. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Beverly "Bev" (Taylor) Brewer of Elsmere; daughter Stacey Litzler (Hank) of Elsmere; sons William Ronald "Ron" Brewer Jr. (Tammy) of Hebron, Eric Brewer (Tonya) of Falmouth, and Brandon Brewer of Elsmere; sister Wanda Mardis (Allen) of Taylor Mill; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. The first visitation will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 5PM-8PM at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. The second visitation will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 10AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 12PM at First Church of God, 6767 Hopeful Rd. Florence, Kentucky 41042.
