Obituary of Rollie Yelton

Rollie Clifford Yelton, age 85, of Ft. Thomas passed away Monday, June 03, 2013, at Florence Park Care Center. He retired from the Kroger Company, after 64 years of employment, was a member of Burlington Baptist Church, and a former member and deacon at Highland Hills Baptist Church in Ft. Thomas. Mr. Yelton was a fun loving individual who enjoyed spending time with his family. He was also a former Mason and went scuba diving at the age of 75. His daughter, Becky (Jim) Casson, preceded him in death in 2008. Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Emma Lou Pierman Yelton; daughter, Lou Emma (Roger) Moermond; grandchildren, Rollie Mitchel (Sarah) Casson, Taylor Michael Casson, Chelsea Nicole (Tim) Schulze, Emily Faith Moermond, and Joshua Lee Moermond; and great-grandchildren, Wesley Carter Casson and Bradley Wayne Schulze. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Burlington Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Burlington Baptist Church Youth Department, 3031 Washington St., Burlington, KY 41005.
