Sorry to hear of Mr. Elbert's death. My father Harold (Curt) thought the world of him. I'm sure they're talking shop right now. All of your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
Ruth Ann, Kathy, Shirley and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss. I have many memories of being at your house while the adults played cards....I remember a lot of laughs. I can't think about my childhood without thinking about the Elberts. Herbie was a lot of fun and had a smile on his face (most of the time). My prayers are with you during this time. Love to all....Debbie.
Condolences to the Elbert family in their time of need. Many memories of Mr. Elbert from back when I was 16, to the many times I saw him run fire calls to playing basketball with him and his son. Herb loved his cars. I first met him he had a ford thunderbird, then bought a Monte Carlo Supersport. He loved that car immensely. He had a great sense of humor that would catch you off guard if you didn't know it was coming. Thank you Herb for your dedication to your family and the community. You made a lasting impression on us. Steve Nienaber The HC Dunbar Plumbing Company
