Obituary of Charles Perry

Charles E. "Neg" Perry, age 88, of Independence passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. He was a retired Truck Driver for Hilltop Concrete and a self-employed Painter. Mr. Perry previously served his country as a U.S. Army Veteran and was a member of Nicholson Christian Church. He enjoyed gardening and loved to travel. His wife, Dorothy Perry and son Donald Edward Perry preceded him in death. Survivors include his grandson, Robert E. Handorf of Phoenix, AZ; step-grandchildren, Christa Atwood, Dennis, Randy, and Ricky Handorf; three great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Ginny Moore of Florence; and brother-in-law, Lawrence Glacken of Glencoe. Visitation will be Friday, June 28, 2013 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Chambers & Grubbs in Florence. Funeral services will begin at noon on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Floral Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Cincinnati, 644 Linn Street, Suite 1026, Cincinnati, OH 45203.
