Dear Family,
I was shocked to hear of Brad's unexpected death.I just saw him out Fourth July weekend, and I keep wondering how it's possible that he is gone. I'm sure you can hardly believe it yourself. One moment you're living life as usual and the next moment your world begins falling apart. What a tremendous loss! I am so sorry.
God bless,
Lori Skeen

Brad, I just want to start this out by saying I hope you know how loved and missed you are. I know that when the sun is shining, you must be up there laughing that boisterous laugh that no one could ever forget. I want to let you know that even though my dad lived away in Canada, you never failed to give me the love that only a father could give. I'll never forget when you'd come in and kiss me on the forehead goodnight, after you kissed your 3 beautiful children goodnight. You always made me feel apart of the family. I will never forget the goofy faces, phrases, or gestures you always made that put smiles on everyone's face. Or maybe when you, Brandi, and I would sit up late at night and laugh at the guy on Paranormal State for being way too serious. I know that everyone could agree that you had a special gift that made everyone feel special and gave them a sense of belonging when they were around you. I will never forget you, and I am forever grateful for having the honor of having you as another Dad. I love you, and you will live on in the hearts of the people that were lucky enough to be in your grace.

I love you Dad. I will always remember the special times we shared together watching tv, eating cheese together, you teaching me how to cook, praying at night, playing dominoes together and so much more. You raised me to believe in myself, be my own person and love my family just like you loved all of us. In the mornings, I will miss you waking me up by saying, "Wakey, wakey, eggs and bakey." And I will never forget that the word is bird!

Ann, Brent & Family: Our deepest sympathy to all of you. We still remember Brad and Heather bringing our little dogs into your house to feed them and swimming in the pool when they were little. Brad was always so sweet and friendly no matter when or where we saw him. We can't imagine the pain of your loss and promise to keep you in our prayers.

It's been a very long time since I had seen Brad when I worked with him at Chuck E. Cheese. He was the best manager I ever had and the nicest guy anyone could ever meet. I sure do have great memories of working with him there. My sincere condolences to his children and loved ones, you are in my prayers.

I love you dad. You will always be in my heart and I will think of you every day. Look down on everyone, please. I can't wait to hear that big, loud laugh of yours again. And for you to take my face and squeeze it while kissing my cheek for an obnoxiously long time (I loved it, of course). You're perfect. I love and miss you. I'll never forget you, please remember that. And please don't ever forget how much me, hannah, and alex loved you and loved having you as our dad. No one could ever replace you or the impact you had on SO many people. I love you.

There is a place in my heart in which I will keep memories of our 23 years together as a family. Brad and I shared many great memories with all of you and all of our friends. I still feel extremely blessed with our three beautiful and gifted (each in their own way)children. Brandi, Alex and Hannah are lucky to have a family like yours in their lives. I still feel as though I am a part of your family. Thank you to all of you for all that you did for us over the years. The kids and I will never forget Brad and all of our great memories wih him. I know the kids will continue to make him proud as he is smiling down from heaven. They will just miss the flipping of their lips and squeezing their cheeks... :)

So sad to hear of Brad's passing. He was one of my first good friends when I was growing up. When I think back I always remember laughing with him in school as we did our best at goofing off. He was full of life and that's how I'll always remember my old friend. Sending prayers to his family. Rest in Peace my old childhood friend.
