Obituary of Linda Anderson

Linda Mary Lourdes Mackenroth Anderson, age 71 of New Orleans, LA, passed away Thursday, July 25, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare of Florence. She retired as a ticket agent for Delta in 1994. Following her retirement, she and her husband Charles were the owner/operators of Heirloom Flowers. She was a former member of First Church of Christ and recently attended South Fork Christian Church. She was a member of the River Ridge Garden Club and the Gateway Gals, enjoyed Barbershop Chorus, and loved traveling and entertaining. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Anderson in 2005. Survivors include her daughters Charlin (William)West of Verona, Cherie (Vince) Shaw of Verona, Charmayne Anderson of New Orleans; son Chad Mackenroth of Houston, TX; brothers John A. Mackenroth, Jr. of Franklinton, LA and Kerry Mackenroth of Salida, CO; grandchildren Taylor, Daniel, Sydnie, Jamie, Ashton, Emma, Kaylie, Cole, and Avery; and great-granddaughter Ashlin. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Chapel with burial to follow. A celebration of Linda's life will follow at the Verona Fire & EMS Squad Building , 14920 Walton-Verona Rd. Verona, KY 41092. Memorials are suggested to First Church of Christ or South Fork Christian Church.
