Obituary of Aubrey Eckler

Aubrey Nelson Eckler, 87, of Burlington, went to be with the Lord and his family, Thursday, July 25, 2013 from his home. He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad, was a member and Deacon of Greeenview Baptist Church, and was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Lucy Pennington Eckler, son Phil Eckler, and brothers Norman, Roger, and Herschel Eckler. Survivors include his grandson Mark Eckler of Covington, daughter-in-law Betty Eckler of Burlington, niece and caregiver Lora (Bobby) Trueax of Brooksville, KY, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until time of Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at Greenview Baptist Church. Burial will be at Burlington Cemetery.
