Obituary of Lawrence Sheaffer

Lawrence Michael Sheaffer, 64, died Friday, Feb. 8 at his home.
He was a flight safety inspector for the Federal Aviation Administration, enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles, restoring old cars, auctioneering and camping in Florida.
He is survived by his wife, Janice Lee Fritz Sheaffer; daughters, Kelly Michelle Sheaffer Stephens and Christina Marie "Katie" Sheaffer; mother, Geraldine Sheaffer; brother, Joseph Sheaffer; and Judy Chandler.
A gathering of friends will be 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15 at Goshen Christian Church, Morning View, with services following. Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence, is handling arrangements. Condolences can be sent online at www.chambersandgrubbs.com.
