Obituary of Philip Jennings

Philip A. Jennings, of Berry, KY formerly of Demossville, KY passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014, at his residence at the age of 64 years. He was a disabled Vietnam Veteran in the "BIG RED 1". Philip worked for Interlake and Newport Steel. He was an avid golfer and loved playing cards, especially Euchre. Philip also enjoyed watching UK basketball, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals. His greatest joy, however, was spending time with his friends and family, specifically his grandchildren. Philip is survived by his loving daughter, Robin Jennings; step-daughters, Sandi Wetenkamp and Lyndsey Sanchez; step-sons, Roderick Deitz, Duane Ball, and Patrick Link; grandchildren, Kambree Brown and Ayden Engelhardt; brothers, Steve and Robert Jennings; nieces, Kahea Chambers and Stephanie Wadsworth; and nephew, Zach Jennings; as well as many other family member and friends.
A visitation for Philip will take place on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 10AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 12PM at Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home, Independence. Interment will immediately follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, North in Williamstown where Philip will receive full Military Honors.
