Obituary of Raymond LaFollette

Raymond Leslie LaFollette, age 90, of Piner, passed away Monday, January 20, 2014, at Gallatin Healthcare in Warsaw, KY. He was a lifetime dairyman and tobacco farmer and a member of Mount Moriah Christian Church in Pendleton County. His beloved wife, Eula Caldwell LaFollette, devoted son, Dexter LaFollette, daughter-in-law, Edie Zerhusen LaFollette, four brothers, and three sisters preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Turner of Speedwell, TN and Rhonda F. (John) Reeves of Florence; grandsons, Brian (Lori) Duncan, Brad Duncan, Justin (Sarah) LaFollette, and Aaron LaFollette; and great grandson, Tyler Duncan. Visitation will be Thursday, January 23, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home in Independence. Funeral services will be Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Gardnersville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Goshen Christian Church, 1773 Bracht-Piner Rd., Morning View, KY 41063 or the Gardnersville Cemetery, 4587 KY Highway 491, Demossville, KY 41033.
